Design sheet C shows in the left upper corner a subdivided star shape. The right upper corner shows the same shape with gaps. The following two figures demonstrate a symmetrically design- one with a light background and the other with a dark background. All the figures have an interesting intervall.

For distorsion I have used Photoshop Elements 9 , but this software was new for me and so took a lot of time for the elaboration. I tried different ways of distorsion. The arrows show the direction of distorsion. The papers are painted with Procion.

I have choosen the colours lime and violet from the colour circle. I made a mistake. When stiking I took a green paper for this sheet. This sheet has stars and crosses from coloured paper cut out with scissors, a zigzag scissars, cutting wheel, a craft knife and ripping the paper.

I made a stemp from the Iran star. At the beginning I made a drawing of the possibilities of this shape.
Image 11a is a worksheet for a stemp from a part of indiastar.I did not use it because i don`t love it.

Module one
In october 2008 I began with the online stitch course "liberal stitching" and so I learnt City and Guild and also Maren and Sandra who made this online workshop to. In september 2010 began Sandra and I with Distant Stitch by Sian Martin. Maren has started one year bevor.
Chapter 1
The difference between a cross and a star is that a cross has two lines, which cross its other and so develope four spaces. A star has three or more lines who make points. The shapes do not be symmetrically, they could have different angles.
I found so many shapes of stars and crosses in my surrounding since I began with this course ( presentpapers, ornaments on buildings, knotgarden, protecting caps for carwiels). A cross is in the christian religion a central symbol.
Any words: starline, stardom, starflour, starfish.
Crosspatch, crossroad, crosssection, crosswalk.
